Oh, how I love an underdog. Which creates a big dilemma for me as I watch the American League Championship series. I love the Yankees, but I love an underdog more. I simply have to root for the Rangers, which means my son might stop speaking to me.
Who wants to watch Yankees vs. Phillies again this year?

That’s the most ridiculous song ever! I LOVE it! Normally I wouldn’t care about the ALCS if the A’s aren’t in it, but I don’t want the Yankees to win again, and I have to root for Ron Washington. I’m hoping that if the Rangers win it all that Billy Beane will want to woo him back here as head coach. A long shot for sure, but I can dream 🙂

Isn’t it funny? I was playing around and found it, knowing I had to have a baseball-related song today. My son is a huge Jeter fan so rooting on the Rangers can seriously affect our relationship.
My boys root for teams strictly BECAUSE my husband hates them. The teams, that is, not the boys. Hope your relationship with your son survives the playoffs! 🙂

Last night my sister told me I should not tell my son I am rooting for the Rangers. I have some guilt over being a traitor as the Yankees are one of my favorite teams. I just would love to see the Rangers make it to the World Series though.
We will see how it plays out.
I have mixed feelings about the Yankees making it to the world series. On one hand, I don’t even want them to have a chance to take it all, so getting knocked out by the Rangers would be nice. But on the other hand, I’d love to see the Phillies get even with them in the world series.

We will see what happens today at 4! I was so disappointed with last night’s game. Rangers had a comfortable lead and then the Yankees pulled it out in one inning. Amazing. It was a great game to watch.
Call me a psychic, or whatever, but I have a knack for knowing what is going to happen before it happens. But I only have this ability when it comes to baseball. And my wife will attest to this uncanny ability.
When Cano hit the solo homer in the 7th to make it 5-1, I told her that it would be the difference in the ball game, and that the Yanks would rally in the 8th. And that it would be a 1 run game.

I’m all about the Giants taking out the Rangers in seven games in the World Series. Wishful thinking, I know. But it could happen!
Anything is possible Josh. I am just hoping for an exciting ALCS and NLCS. I didn’t want to watch the Yankees crush the Rangers.
