A beautiful thirteen mile run on the canal followed by Christmas shopping with a friend and then dinner out at one of my favorite restaurants with a group of friends. Saturday was perfect–filled with good times and lots of laughter.

A quiet Sunday was much-needed. The day was spent wrapping gifts, decorating the tree, and eating Christmas cookies. I have too many talented bakers as friends. My kitchen is filled with cookies right now.
