As I sit to write this it is almost noon. I have not felt nauseous and there have been no tears so far today. I am also breathing deeper than I have been capable of all week. Part of this is because time is passing and there are only so many tears that can be shed. Another reason is because I was wrapped in a blanket of love and concern yesterday, which lifted my spirit greatly. This blanket was woven from comments on my blog, Twitter, Facebook, emails, and Studio30 Plus. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me with kind, encouraging, and loving words.
It took an effort to write my post yesterday, which was the impetus for the outreach from so many. But I also knew writing about it was inevitable; it would be part of the grieving process for me.
The other thing that has me in a great mood today is that my kids return home after being away for a week. We have fun plans for this evening and tomorrow, but most of all I can’t wait to hug them and welcome them home.
Since it’s a kid-filled, fun weekend, I have chosen a song both of my children love (it’s rare they can agree on music). This week’s Song of the Week is “We are Young” by Fun:

No tear, isn’t it good? I think so. Have some quality time with kiddos. I hope my comment will put some weight to your blanket :)
Thank you Emily, for adding to the blanket. I appreciate it.
I’m glad you’re breathing easier! Hope the weekend was awesome!!
It was a great weekend. Thank you Monkey Butt.
Breakups are so difficult. It has been a year for me and I still feel a sting of hurt. It did, however, take time. I still have a ways to go.
Wishing you luck and it will get better…
Thank you. It is getting better. I hope you continue to heal as well.
Though its hard to cope up with a break up, as long as you know there are other people who love you, you know you can go on. Hugs! :) By the way, love that song so much! Enjoy with the kids! :)
Thank you Ruffa. It was a great weekend and so is this week.
It’s amazing how every time you lose something, if you’re paying attention, you’ll realize how much you still have…
I do still have so much in my life and it is the main reason I am rebounding so well.
