This blog was conceived to record my journey to become a Naked Girl in a Dress and I hoped others would find something in my writing that resonated for them as well. What I decided in the beginning was that to be free, happy, and uninhibited did not specifically involve having a man in my life. As a result, that aspect of my life has not been something I have shared. The only mention since starting my blog was when I wrote about the man I was in a committed relationship with did something dishonest (I should have ended it that day) and then a small mention that the relationship ended last fall.

It was a conscious decision I made to exclude this part of me. After my marriage ended, it was important to find this internal contentment on my own and, as a result, I limited my writing.

I am now, eight months into blogging, making another conscious decision. This time it is to include even more of me in my writing. Naked Girl in a Dress will still have the same focus , but now I am expanding my writing to include my thoughts on relationships and dating. No salacious details will be shared, but rather I will include the topic of romantic relationships on occasion because dating is a part of my life.

I will be writing a two week series leading up to Valentine’s Day. The focus will be on relationships and love. I look forward to writing a series and can’t wait for readers to comment.
